Professional Profile
Kevin Underwood is a Lifelong resident of Tippecanoe County, farmer, husband and father of three children. Kevin was raised in northwest Tippecanoe County where he graduated from Benton Central High School in 1986. In 1989, Kevin was married to his high school sweetheart Sherry Geswein. They have three children, Samantha, Colton and Lauren. In May 1990, Kevin received a degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University.

Kevin and his father farm approximately 1400 acres in northwest Tippecanoe County near Kevin's home. In addition to farming, Kevin is involved in a number of organizations. Kevin is president of the Tippecanoe County Farm Bureau Incorporated; He is involved with the Indiana Soybean Association, and is on 4th District Congressman Steve Buyer's Ag Advisory Committee. He also helps with the county 4-H swine project and Ag Day programs. He is a lifelong member of Crestview United Brethren Church, where he is an Adult Sunday School teacher, serves on the praise and worship team and is the usher chairman.

Elected to Council
Kevin was elected to the County Council in 2004 and took office January 1, 2005. As a County Council member he serves on the Community Corrections Board, GIS Advisory, MITS Advisory, Tippecanoe Emergency Management Advisory Council and Wildcat Solid Waste District Board.
