The Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Citizen Series an educational outreach program designed to provide residents a greater understanding of the inner-workings of their prosecutor’s office and the role that the departments within the office play within the criminal justice system.
Some of the topics that will be included in the 6-week program:
- Structure of Office and Ethical Obligations
- Criminal Investigations
- Physical and Digital Evidence
- Filing Decisions and Court Proceedings including Stages of the Prosecution of a Criminal Case
- Opioid Epidemic Effect on Tippecanoe County
- Community Partnerships
The Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Citizens Series will be held at the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office, 111 N. 4th Street, Lafayette, Indiana. There will be 6 sessions and each session be held from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. The dates for the session are as follows:
