Fees for Requesting Records

As defined in Ordinance # 2011-06-CL, the following is a fee schedule for duplication and provision of certain document related services
Background Checks $2
Crash Reports - In Person or by Mail With SASE Including all Pages of S#235 per Request $8
Criminal Incident Reports $0.30 for the 1st pages, $0.05 per Page Thereafter
Fingerprinting Services (Other Than Police Business) $5
Handgun Permit Processing $10-$50
Incarceration Reports Certified Including Searching, Compiling, and Redacting per Request $10
Incarceration Reports Un-Certified Including Searching,compiling, and Redacting per Request $2

Above are links to forms used to request various types of records and related fees, as well as information about specific record requests and fees. These forms can be mailed or faxed to the address and fax number on each form. Please note that if the form is mailed, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. All record requests must be accompanied by the correct fee due (see the fee schedule or contact the correct person for an exact price). Please note that requested information will not be delivered until payment is received. You may bring the completed form with you to the Tippecanoe County Law Enforcement Building, or email the completed form to the corresponding person.
