Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)

Tippecanoe County Community Corrections is dedicated to making every participant feel safe within Work Release.  Therefore, we have adopted a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment and sexual assault.

At TCCC, we promise to take every report serious, investigating to the fullest extent necessary, remove any participant with founded allegations of harassment/assault, and providing resources for those who have been victims of assault.

Our Deputy Director, Kelly Morehouse, serves as the PREA Coordinator.  It is her top priority to make sure all PREA guidelines are followed and reported accordingly.

Our Work Release Assistant Coordinator, Brittany Whitlow, serves as the PREA Compliance Officer.  She will be the lead investigator and in charge of daily checks, follow-up procedures, and trainings.
