Judge Les A. Meade is a life-long resident of Tippecanoe County. He graduated from Ball State University, magna cum laude, and from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington. He practiced law for more than 25 years in Lafayette before taking the bench in 2003. His practice covered a wide range of legal subjects including commercial, corporate, family, and criminal litigation, real estate, probate, and representation of small business. Judge Meade is a member of the Jury Committee of the Indiana Judicial Conference and a graduate of the Economics Institute for Judges sponsored by the Brookings-AEI Joint Center for Regulatory Studies. He is also a Continuing Lecturer in the School of Management at Purdue University, where he has taught for more than 25 years.
