Shannon Withers, Tippecanoe County Recorder

Thank you for visiting the Tippecanoe County Recorder's Office.

The Tippecanoe County Recorder's Office preserves many of the communities most important records, ranging from land ownership, home mortgages, and neighborhood covenants to business names and military discharge documents.
Our dedicated staff is committed to providing you with fast and accurate assistance with your recording needs.

Most documents submitted for recording have a 24 hour turnaround time. In 2014, the recorder's office recorded more than 22,500 documents and returned $328,151.50 in recording fees to the Tippecanoe County general fund, money that supplements property taxes to help pay for local government.

We also electronically record documents. Since October 2010 we have electronically recorded over 18,000 documents.

We look forward to serving you and hope that this web site gives you a head start when transacting your important business with us.

Respectfully,
Shannon Withers
Tippecanoe County Recorder
