The clerk's office is responsible for:
Child Support - we receive and disburse all court ordered child support payments.
Tickets - we receive payments for all tickets issued by the State Police, Lafayette City Police, and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff. Traffic tickets given by the West Lafayette Police are handled at West Lafayette City Hall. Call them at 765-775-5155 or check their web site at: http://www.city.west-lafayette.in.us/
Case Filings - Court cases are filed in our office. If you have questions about cases that have already been filed, please call the court in which the action was filed.

We also provide Notary Public applications and certify that notaries that signed documents are registered. Foreign judgements are also filed in our office.
Records - Need copies of documents for Family Research? Try contacting the Tippecanoe County Historical Association at (765) 476-8411 ext. 209 or visit them on the web at http://www.tcha.mus.in.us/ Copies of old records may be obtained from TCHA or in our office. TCHA has the original records; those in our office are on microfilm. TCHA is often able to produce better copies at less cost.

Marriage Licenses - We issue marriage licenses for Tippecanoe County residents and non-residents who plan to be married in Tippecanoe County. Questions? E-mail us at marriage@tippecanoe.in.gov
Judgments, Fines and Bonds - The clerk's office collects all judgments and fines and forwards them to the appropriate parties.
