Requirements
Applicants for Deputy Sheriff must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a resident of Tippecanoe County within 1 year of appointment
  • Must have no felony convictions
  • Must not have had misdemeanor conviction of domestic violence
  • Must possess a valid Indiana driver's license, or obtain one within 60 days of establishing residency
  • Must possess high school diploma (or GED)
  • Must be a United States Citizen
