Area Plan Commission meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month, The Executive Committee meeting is held the 1st Wednesday of Every Month. Ordinance Committee is scheduled immediately after Executive Committee Meetings and the 3rd Thursday of the month as needed.
The Tippecanoe County Area Plan Commission (also referred to as TCAPC) is the policy-making organization that oversees zoning and related issues for the Greater Lafayette area in Tippecanoe County.

The Area Plan Commission is a 17 member body of elected officials (2/3) and citizens (1/3) representing all 6 member jurisdictions. In addition, the APC is the governor-designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) charged with transportation planning for our Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The Executive Committee of the Area Plan Commission provides general oversight over the area planning process. The Committee sets specific policies and procedures for the operation of the Department.
The Ordinance Committee of the Area Plan Commission provides makes recommendations and drafts changes for ordinances related to the area planning process.
