Mult-Systemic Therapy (MST)

MST is comprised of 2 full time therapists and a team leader. The therapists work with 4 to 6 families at a time in the hope of empowering the family to move away from legal support and feel confident in their abilities to parent their children through good and bad. MST therapists provide 24 hour on call crisis management in addition to their weekly sessions that are more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy. MST therapists work with the family in their home, in the community, or wherever they are needed initially 3 times per week and as the family stabilizes and works towards sustainability this decreases. MST is an evidence based program that has been recognized as a blueprint model program. In addition Tippecanoe County Youth Services is the only officially licensed MST program in Indiana.
