Clerk of the Courts

The Clerk of the Circuit and Superior Courts is a county-elected official as established by the Indiana Constitution.


  • Administers the official court records for all trial court cases
  • Collects filing fees, court costs, judgments in civil and infraction cases, fines for courts, and child support totaling approximately $11 million in financial transactions annually
  • Serves on Board of Election and County Election Board; oversees, conducts and certifies election results
  • Prepares the permanent historical record of the courts
  • Processes and issues various documents for court cases

You will e notified via e-mail when the request is received, processed and completed.
